Infosys, an IT services company, recently unveiled a comprehensive AI certification training program on its Springboard Virtual Learning Platform. This initiative aims to equip learners with cutting-edge skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI, which are highly sought-after in the job market. The curriculum has been carefully crafted in collaboration with Infosys’ AI-first specialists and data strategists, who are instrumental in delivering the company’s innovative services, solutions, and platforms.
The certification program encompasses a diverse range of courses covering various aspects of AI. Students will have the opportunity to explore introductory courses on AI and Generative AI, focusing on deep learning and natural language processing. Additionally, there will be a masterclass on AI and its profound impact on Generative AI.
To further enhance learners’ understanding of data science, Infosys Springboard offers a customized course called “Citizens Data Science.” This course delves into essential concepts such as Python programming, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and exploratory data analysis. Successful completion of the course will earn participants a valuable certificate.
Infosys Springboard provides a state-of-the-art virtual learning platform that caters to students from Class 6 through lifelong learners. With its curriculum-rich content and user-friendly interface, learners can access corporate-grade learning experiences on any device. The platform also encourages close collaboration between educators and learners, fostering an interactive and engaging learning environment.
This comprehensive digital re-skilling initiative complements formal education and caters to a wide range of learners, including school and college students, professionals, and adults alike. It aims to accelerate the adoption of digital skills and empower individuals with the knowledge needed to thrive in the digital era.
In a separate announcement earlier this year, Infosys disclosed the retirement of Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw as Independent Director from its Board, effective March 22, 2023, marking the completion of her tenure. Consequently, the Board has appointed D Sundaram as the Lead Independent Director based on the recommendation of the ‘Nomination and Remuneration Committee’.
